Luke's account of the woman who poured the perfume on Jesus' feet tells us several important things. First, God is not interested in our position on earth, but with our posture with the Creator of the earth. Just as she sought forgiveness, once we acknowledge our depravity and find the answer to our problem, we can enjoy our freedom.And lastly, when Jesus does the filling, we can enjoy the journey.
