The Fourth Man in the Fire
Today Pastor Wood looks in Daniel at the life of Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego. Today we look specifically at "The Fourth Man in the Fire". King Nebuchadnezzar built the 90 foot tall statue for all of his people to worship. Worship of idols was common in the Babylonian empire and a decree from Nebuchadnezzar to worship this statue also established his position as the supreme ruler of the land. These three men stood for God and were willing to serve Him, no matter what. But who was the fourth man in the fire? He wasn't thrown in with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
