Sermons About Fish
Revolutionary Feast
Eating is an activity all of us do. It is a basic human practice. Yet when Jesus came, He transformed the ordinary meal into an encounter with Him. He sets Himself in the midst of these meals and invites all to come and taste the grace of God. Jesus demonstrates to the world His mission through welcoming sinners at the table with Him.

Faith: Phillip's Example
What does it mean to live a life of faith? How does faith affect the way we respond to challenges? The third of a six-part series on the Essence of Faith, this message looks at Phillip's bad example of faith at Jesus' feeding of the 5,000. Pastor Dave Robinson encourages us to realize Jesus initiates challenges to test our faith, remember what Jesus has done in the past, and respond with faith to avoid becoming a bad example like Phillip.

Shepherds and Fish
Your feeling of inadequacy and being ordinary is another way God assures you that He is present in your life. God uses the ordinary in order to connect with the human race and accomplish His purposes. He takes you just as you are and turns you into an extraordinary participant in proclaiming the Good News just like He did with the shepherds in Luke 2:8-20. Their initial reaction of fear turned into joy and expediency. God also used an ordinary feeding trough and a little town called Bethlehem as the Divine was introduced among men. The Bible also uses the theme of fish several times to illustrate God’s obsession with the ordinary when relating to people, as in the feeding of the five thousand in Luke 9. Little becomes much when placed in the Master’s hand.
