The choice to follow Jesus is similar to "value sizing" a meal at a fast food restaurant. You'll get more out of life, but it's going to cost you something.

Nevertheless
With the erosion of our society all around us; including the moral, financial, and political landscape, we need to be able to live in the land of "Nevertheless." Pastor James Hambrick brings us from the dwelling place of despair to the only place we can find hope; in our own "Neverthleless." This message deals with God's blessings to us and our need to embrace the One doing the blessing rather than the blessing itself.

Go
We admit it. We have an agenda: we want you to join the church. All believers in Jesus in every time and place are members of the universal church, but committing to a local church is a vital part of the spiritual life for every Christ-follower. In our teaching series, CHURCH 101, we are taking several weeks to describe the foundational commitments of church membership. Our members are those who have accepted the mission of helping others become passionate followers of Jesus through the ministry and community of this church. Over the next few weeks, we will discuss what that means as we explore practically how we can live for Jesus as a part of His church.

Called to Kingdom LIfe
This week we see how Jesus calls people to adjust to the new reality of the much-announced (via John) and the much anticipated (via the prophets all the way from Gen. 3) King and his kingdom. John learns how to decrease (off to prison) and fisherman followers learn how to leave fishing for fishing as part of Christ's sorting everything out as the King of everything who will build his church upon their preaching as his apostles.
