Galatians 3.10-14: Divine Curse and Blessing

The Gospel in Action
Paul's letter to Philemon is a wonderful example of how we can apply the gospel to everyday problems. One of the applications we see in this letter relates to relationships, especially those that have conflict. There is a rift in the relationship between Philemon and his slave Onesimus. And Paul wants the two of them to be reconciled. And so he not only encourages reconciliation, he also explains how God empowers that reconciliation. And in doing so, he helps us see how God can empower reconciliation and forgiveness in our own relationships and how God gives us others to encourage us to live in the way God empowers us to live.
