This week we’re going to be finishing off our Series on “Emotion A Force.” My hope and prayer is that you’ve allowed God to speak to you through this series. We don’t often reflect on/think about how much influence our emotions have in our everyday lives, but our emotions most often drive our: thoughts, words, and actions; they determine how we relate to God and others.
This series on Emotions - “Emotion A Force,” has been difficult for many. We’ve been dealing with Anger, Shame and Guilt. Today will also be difficult, many of you will find yourselves resistant to God’s remedy for Greed!
Today we’re launching a new Series: Emotion A Force; as I meet with people and listen to their stories invariably I hear about their feelings concerning people in their lives; and circumstances that their facing. These feelings drive their behavior, their actions; they dominate or rule their minds...these feelings often define how they live.

The holy spirit is a constant presence, force and power in the Old Testament which is then 'amped up' for all after Pentecost. What can we learn from the Holy Spirit's Old Testament work that enables us to be more effective witnesses for Jesus today?
