Redeeming Relationships Part 3: Friendships
God created us to exist in community and gave us friends to enjoy life with and give us support and encouragement. Friendships can be fragile, though, especially in our mobile society, and they are easily damaged by gossip, making fun of each other, being undependable, and treating them as expendable. Instead we are to treat our friends with love and care, forgiving each other, sacrificing for each other, and being willing to lay down our lives for our friends, just as our Lord Jesus Christ loves us and is willing to lay down His life for us.
