Sermons about Fruitful
Ephraim before Manasseh...fruitfulness before forgetfulness.
For thousands of years, man has been puzzled with this very simple question - Why Am I Here? The reason there is so much confusion about the matter is due to the fact that men have attempted to answer the question from their own perspective. Philosophers and Self-Help authors have produced tons of literature on the subject, but the bulk of their rhetoric ignores the testimony of the God who created them. The Word of God gives clear testimony regarding our purpose on earth. Anyone who cares to know, can find the answers there. This message presents seven clear cut purposes of life for each and every person on planet earth.
What is it that allows your church to grow or what is it that allows your church to decline and eventually die?
To love God is to love life, because God is life. As Noah and his wife and their sons and their wives departed the ark God renewed his covenant purpose with them. This meant that like Adam and Eve they were to be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth, and by implication subdue it on God's behalf. This propagation of life was not merely physical but spiritual, because God is worshiped or served through our physical bodies in a physical creation. This also meant they were to protect life. In this propagation and protection of life they were loving God. We also demonstrate love for God through the propagation and protection of life. While the shedding of human blood predominately reveals our hatred for life and God, God sent his own son, the Lord Jesus, who shed his blood that we might have life and thereby love for God.

The first sermon in the series from 2 Peter
The ministry of the Apostle Paul was nothing short of miraculous. Without a doubt, God blessed this dear man with an extremely fruitful ministry. Our text really helps us to see the motive, the manner and the methods of a man greatly used of God. May God use this message to encourage us to principally serve in like manner.
On this road of faith we often need to make some potty stops along the way rid ourselves of the bitterness and baggage that hinders our walk with God. We can only get to the destination of a fruitful life when we allow the Great Physician, Jesus Christ to remove the hurts that a sinful world and life have deposited in our hearts.
