Sermons About Gift
Gift
God doesn't need our money. In the area of contributing, He is more concerned about our hearts than the dollar amount. II Corinthians 9:5-7 teaches the principle of planned giving. We are to plan our giving (need for budget) in order that our gifts can be cheerfully offered. However, planning can never exclude our hearts. God loves a cheerful giver and despises a begrudged heart. All our gifts (worship, prayer, time in serving, and money) are to be offered in cheerfulness.

A Well-Oiled Ministry Machine
The most powerful engines in the world are useless without the lubricating effect of high-quality oils, grease, or synthetic polymers. They would literally burn themselves up as the internal friction of the engine heated the motor to dangerous temperatures, and the engine seizes -- so too with the engine of ministry. Key Passage: 1 Peter 4:10

The Single Greatest Gift
I'm glad you are here today, because this is the first week in our "Walk Across the Room" series. Thanks to all of you who are taking the time to read the book. This six week experience is going to radically change the way you and I view evangelism. If you are a Christ-follower, I know that what you want most is to touch the lives of people you know, people you love, those who are living their lives far from God. How do we begin? You got it: with a "Walk Across the Room". Pastor Mel Shetler

Celebrating The Gift
Today is the third Sunday that you are hearing how God wants to impact this community through Maple City Chapel. We are not the only church in town! We bless the churches around usand join in the spirit of a united mission for the cause of Christ. I do believe we have a unique call of God to share his message in a culterally relevant way that impacts this community and reaches out to the unchurched and calls the nominal Christians to spiritual renewal.

Acts 13:13-52 - Prepared and Gifted to Serve
Paul was prepared and gifted by God for his missionary journeys throughout the Roman Empire. His Roman citizenship and years as a Jewish Pharisee gave him the ability to speak to both groups of people effectively, and the Holy Spirit gifted Paul with the ability to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power, boldness, and clarity. In the same way God has prepared and gifted each of us to contribute to the work of spreading the Gospel, and there is great joy in serving God in the way that He has prepared us to do.
