Sermons About Giving
Engage 2
How many of us have missed out on having something astounding become part of our life simply because we didn’t take the first step? Or after taking the first step, fail to persevere until fulfillment had been gained? God has created each of us to have a life He describes as abundant. More than success, God is referring to fulfillment. This fulfilling, abundant life is discovered as we first engage in a relationship with Jesus and then engage in a life that lives out and shares His good news, the gospel. Come and learn how to engage with Jesus, His work here on earth and your abundant and purpose-filled life.

The Impact of the Gift
God has entrusted His resources to us and we are to manage them according to His desires, not ours. Our gifts are no secret to God and reflect our commitment. They're also one way we communicate to God how grateful we are. Here's a heart exam: If Jesus were seated next to you today, would your gift be any different? Are my gifts done out of the surplus of my resources? Does my giving tell God I actually rely on Him.

The Stewardship of Grace Pt. #2: 2 Corinthians 9:6-14
We must remember that our giving of our time, talent and treasures is a consequence of the joy we have in Christ due to the riches He has lavished upon us (Grace). When people see us “Submitting” our time, talent and treasures for the benefit of others, they see the reality of the “Confession of the gospel of Christ” in your giving.

I'll Be Happy When... I Get Enough
Why is that we always seem to think we'll be happy when we get a little more... money, success, prestige, power, or things? We live in an age when we are surrounded by the message that we don't have enough - we need to buy, attend, listen, read something to be happy. Is there another way to live? Listen to hear how the apostle Paul ends his letter to the Philippian church with the key to freeing ourselves from 'get-enough' syndrome.

The Stewardship of Grace Pt. #1: 2 Corinthians 8:1-14
If we have yielded our lives to God, then we have yielded that which is most important to us; our time, talent and treasure. Biblical giving to help others is not based on nationalism, moralism, self interest, or guilt; it is based on the grace that God has shown us in Jesus Christ so that we are free to give of ourselves for the glory of God in this world. Let’s take a look at 2 Corinthians 8 for the words of Paul on this subject.
