Sermons About Glorification
The Example of Christ
Philippians 2:5-11 Bible, Paul gives us a pattern of service to glorify God. Christ, the Creator, took on flesh in the likeness of His creation. This act makes it possible for us “wretched” sinners to be redeemed by the blood of Christ, but He also lays out the example of how to serve in such a way as to bring glory to God!

What To Wear- Living in the Light of Eternity pt 1: (Romans 11-14)
In our passage, Paul uses the picture of taking off and putting on clothing to represent sanctification, the Christian’s forsaking the sins that remain in his remaining fallenness or flesh and embracing the righteousness of his new self, his new creation in Jesus Christ. But before the apostle presents that vital truth, he wants to have his readers’ full attention on 3 essential factors. He urges them to wake up first of all, from their spiritual lethargy and secondly, to wake up from their sin. Paul is saying that you can not fully put on Christ until you see how easy it is for a Christian to be spiritually lethargic in their faith and how easily they can get weighed down in their sin.

Body by God
Life is short. Then it's over. Or is it? We are reminded everyday that life as we know it will come to an end. Is it really over when it's over or is there something else? Everyone wonders what is next, what is around the bend. Did Jesus really rise from the dead? If so, what does that mean for us? Over four weeks, we will explore these questions as we look at the evidence and ramifications of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will see that when Jesus rose from the dead He radically altered both life and death for every person that believes that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. Are you awake? If not, you need to be!

Freedom-Faith In Partnership with God - Galatians #12
What makes the Christian faith like no other? The good news of God’s grace is the bold claim that we are accepted by God not because we “follow the rules” or “fit the mold” but because Jesus gave his own life to rescue us. But many of us are still trying to earn God’s love with our performance rather than living in the freedom that Jesus has provided for us. In Galatians, Paul warns against the danger of religious systems that value people on grounds of accomplishment or status or cultural agreement. These things lock away our freedom in the futility of legalism, moral superiority and cultural arrogance. Focusing on either the racial/ethnic/cultural superiority or the moral successes of good works denies the gospel and divides Jesus’ followers. Join us as we explore how God offers us true freedom in Jesus and how the freedom of Christ transforms our hearts, our minds and lives.

The Hope of All Creation (Romans 8:18-25)
Suffering is a very real part of our experience in the "not yet" of God's kingdom. We will certainly encounter suffering. God provides many comforts and helps to us in our suffering, including the Holy Spirit, fellow believers, and the hope that we have. We can also gain encouragement by seeing God's purposes in suffering, both for us individually and also for creation. God calls us to endure our suffering in hope, and we can be sure that he cares about us in our suffering.
