Sacred Psalms: Psalms 119.129-136
Coleman Ford is our teacher today. He has been married to his beautiful and talented wife, Alex, since 2008. He currently attends Dallas Theological Seminary where he is working towards a Masters in Theology. He likes oatmeal raisin cookies and good coffee, preferably at the same time. He will be teaching from Psalm 119.129-136. Do you hunger after God's word? Are you amazed by His commands? In a day when the Bible is reduced to myth and mere fables, do you view Scripture as the very breath of God? The writer of Psalm 119 reveals to us how deep our love for His Word should be, and the sacred wonder of God's glorious commands.

The Weight of Glory
God is so glorious that it will take all of eternity to rightly adore Him! If heaven celebrates God, shouldnt we? If endless time is devoted to the worship of God, why do we just think of it in the category of church services? Not only does God’s glory not fade in eternity, but our faith becomes sight, so we worship Him unrestrained and without obstacles. If this is what heaven is all about, then we ought to practice here for what we’ll enjoy forever. This perspective makes all of life here one earth about worship and forces us to examine all we do through the grid of Gods glorious nature and our acceptable worship.

You Are Worth Something
This sermon reminds us of how much we are worth because of what Jesus did for us. We are valuable, we are glorious, we are worth something not because of what we have done, but because of what God has done. It is an encouragment for those who are down, depressed, or lacking self-esteem.

glorious crash
as we begin our season of advent we will be looking at four different ways heaven crashed into earth at our savior's birth. we begin by exploring what it is in all of us that longs for what is beautiful, impressive and awesome. where do we find these things that are "larger than life"? how do we try to create them ourselves? and what is the most glorious thing of all to fill our cravings?
