We can hear Jesus' words and not be saved. We can pray earnestly and not be saved. The Pharisees did these things and Jesus rebuked them; even call them "a brute of vipers". If God's words do not cause us to change our ways, we have no part of the true church. There is a clear, true and sanctified church in Jesus' name. Members of this true church only follow Jesus Christ as their Lord, Savior and Authority,
Are you poor, hungry and do you weep? If you are not, you cannot be used by Christ to further His Kingdom. It is with those who do these things that Jesus is building His Church. Only those who reject the ways of the world can be used to further His Kingdom. We need Christ every day, as we are spiritually lost (sinner) without Him!
Do you look back and long for yesterday, because everything seemed perfect? Or have you lost focus as to why you are saved and just go thru the motions? After Jesus did God's work ALL NIGHT, He did not go to sleep and take care of His physical need. Instead He went to a solitary place (His prayer closet) and took care of His spiritual needs. He went and talked to the Father. When do we take time and talk to the Father?
