Games People Play
Sometimes, people's lives aren't what they seem. The Bible word for it is hypocrisy. Today Jesus makes the same challenge to us because we struggle with the same temptations to play religious games. Stewarding the Story in Service
This sermon is 3rd in a series on the way we steward the story of the gospel in our lives. Stewarding the Story starts in our souls, transforms our hearts in silence and then works out in our service. That is, in doing good deeds that adorn the gospel, making Jesus appear to be a gracious savior.

Supernatural Goodness
The Bible teaches that goodness in our lives is not a mere passive quality, like something that you are. It's the deliberate preference of right to wrong, the firm and persistent resistance of all moral evil, and the choosing and following of all that is morally good. For the Christian, being good is a choice that involves decisions about our behavior--decisions between good or evil, between right and wrong.
