The Good Shepherds Sheep
All of the promises of God are yes and amen! This week we look again at Jesus teaching in John 10 regarding His sheep and what He is giving them. Jesus says my Sheep know me and I give them eternal life. This promise is based on Jesus' claim to be able to take His life back again once He has laid it down for His sheep. This is a profound promise with an amazing guarantee. As Christians we need to lay hold of that promise and understand exactly who it is and how He guarantees it to His sheep.

The Good Shepherd and The Bad Shepherds
Entering into John chapter 10 we find Jesus taking the Pharisees further in the discussion that ended in John 9 where He accused them of spiritual blindness. Here He calls them thieves and robbers and hirelings who do not care for the flock of God. It is a good discussion about what godly leaders are like and how they care for the flock. We can benefit from this wisdom and examine our own place in God's Sheepfold.
