Mission Is...
Our God is a missional God. How does the Gospel motivate community missionwards? The Father sends the Son, the Son sends the Spirit, and the Spirit fills the church and sends it on mission and power into the world. To be on mission is simply to be like our God. It’s to understand His redemptive plan. It’s to join in His story. It’s to see our identity as it truly is.

The Great (Sales) Commission
Many Christians avoid participating in the Great Commission because it seems very much like a sales job. But is the Great Commission really about sales? Or, has our programmatic approach to Christianity caused us to misunderstand it? Key verses: Matt 28:18ff; Rom 1:1; Acts 16:7ff; 2Cor 1:3-7; 1Pet 3:8-15

Why are we Here?
It is always beneficial to know where you stand. At our sixth month anniversary of meeting in the Selah Civic Center we incorporated our annual meeting into the morning. We asked the question, "Why are we here?" and answered it from the Bible. We also endeavored to answer the question, "What do we want to be known for?". The answer was not intended to be exhaustive; rather, to begin the discussion.

Being Jesus to the world.
Part of Christ's "Great Commission" is to go, right? But when we encounter people, often times, we are not the nicest people they come in contact with. We are sent, by God, to be "Jesus" to everyone we have a chance to meet! We are not here to "live a good life" but rather we are sent to be His hands, feet, touch and love. If we don't love people as Jesus, then we really aren't who we are supposed to be.
