Sermons About Grief
Fear - Grief - Joy
Our lives are filled with a plethora of emotions. Some of us are emotive, expressing our feelings with reckless abandon. Others are conservatively reserved in the display of our inner sensitivities. Regardless of how they are expressed, every human being experiences emotion. Today we dwell on three emotions: fear, grief, and joy. We don't leave our emotions to run chaotic, but we bring the transformative Word of God to dwell upon our emotions, our thoughts... our entire lives.

in this final messianic sign, Jesus shows both his compassion and authority in weeping over the death of Lazarus and resurrecting him after he has been dead four days. Jesus enters our sorrow, grieves with us and gives us life. Even if we think we are too dead, too stinky, too dirty.
