Gospel of John: Open Eyes, Closed Hearts (John 9)
Jesus heals a blind man who grows in his understanding and testimony of what happened. In the passage is a growing tension Jesus continues of earthy understanding and spiritual understandings. There is a strong tendency to trust our five senses so strongly that we miss seeing things spiritually.

Hurt Fathers Hurt
We’ve been discussing the Value of Fathers in our lives and how we as men all have a responsibility to be a Father for somebody. We’ve also discussed the wounding that our fathers can cause, often unsuspectingly, and the healing that can be found in our face to face encounters with the Father of Fathers, God! Today, we’ll finish up our series on Fathering – Hurt Fathers Hurt? Question: Why do fathers hurt those they are called to love? Question: How do our father wounds affect our lifes today, right now? Some of you are probably saying, the past is in the past. It doesn’t affect me now at all… You may be right, but what if you’re wrong…What if you are oblivious to your father wounds and the affects of these wounds on you and others.

Does your spiritual life feel like an exasperating series of “do’s and don’ts” to which you can never live up? What if there was a way to stay connected to Jesus and not carry the weight on your own. In this series, we will get back to basics by exploring ancient spiritual practices that can refuel your soul.

God Cares - Divine Delay
There’s an old Norse word for religion that translates into English as “trying again.” Perseverance grounded in faith can hold us together when life unravels around us. In this story of two miracles we learn about holding fast to our faith and “trying again” as many times as necessary. Perhaps our unanswered prayers are simply divine invitations to “keep trying.”
