Sermons about Healing
We are Called to Suffer like Christ. Our Calling has - 1. An Earthly Purpose 2. An Infinite Price and 3. An Effectual Power
There is one common denominator that binds all of us together, regardless of our age, or race, or socio-economic background. All of us have experienced times of brokenness in our lives and have needed not only the grace of God but also the love of His people. Today we're talking about the journey of brokenness and healing and we're going to gather around the communion table where our broken lives are made whole again. The bottom line? Broken people are welcome!
Jesus is interrupted and "side-tracked" on his way to save a little girl in critical condition. The tension is high and His decision-making must have been called into question. Why isn't He in a hurry? And what does this teach all of us when it feels like God is ignoring our urgent requests and seemingly occupied with "lesser" concerns?
Many signs and wonders will accompany those that believe. Is this still true today? Does the Word of God have the same power as it did centuries ago? Or do we believe only what is convenient?
Jesus: The Lunatic, Deceiver. or Savior?
To understand Christ; His coming, the cross, the resurrection, return in any other way than the all glorious work of reconciling sinners to God is to miss Him altogether. The Christ of much of evangelicalism, is not the Christ of the Bible. 2 Compelling proofs of Jesus’ mission and ability to save His people from their sin, that sinners would believe. (1) Jesus came to deal with the problem of sin; (2) Jesus’ authority over the fruit of sin proves His authority over the root of sin
In Matthew 8:14-17 Jesus Christ is the King who displays His power with compassion & authority that we would embrace the cross and follow Him. (1) The Completeness of His Power over disease; (2) The Comprehensiveness of His Power over Demons; (3) The Connection of His Power to His Atonement
This is a recording of our third night of revival with preaching by Rodney Wallace. Special signing before the message is performed by the Marty Barrow Family.
How Does Jesus Define His Church? Scripture: Luke 4:16-30 We dare not let our culture, business practices, or even our denominational traditions define the church for us. If we attempt to duplicate the practices of other churches without measurement against our mission and vision, we will never reach our full potential. Jesus’ first sermon in His hometown church gives clear insight on His thoughts regarding what the very nature of His church should be. The setting: Jesus ministering in His home town of Nazareth Five powerful proclamations of grace that will be the defining moments for His church! The church is to proclaim: 1. The gospel (good news) will be preached to the poor. The trapped and powerless are to receive hope. 2. The captives will be released The human spirit will be set free of all strongholds and bondages. 3. The blind will see. All blindness of the human heart and mind will be exposed to the light of truth. 4. The downtrodden will be free from their oppressors. Justice will be restored. 5. The time of the Lord’s favor has come. Enough is enough! The Lord has come to restore what was taken.
