There are a lot of people who laugh at Christianity. Who scoff at the gospel message. But there has always been those people.....and scoffing doesn't mean the gospel is not true. Peter reminds his readers of some very important things.

Faithfulness, Faith & Our Final Destination
How we view our possessions is a good indication of our faithfulness to God in our lives. When we are fully surrendered to God's authority, we become faithful stewards of our time, money, and especially in our relationships with others. Jesus warns us that eternal punishment awaits those who abuse riches, and refuse to repent and surrender themselves to God. The good news is that in Jesus' death this doesn't have to be our fate! Repent and follow Him, and He will lead us into eternal life
He Was Buried
Why then was Christ buried? Why does Paul say it is of first importance? How does Christ’s burial comfort the believer? What blessings are given to us to enjoy? Herman Witsius writes, “…Christian piety requires us to improve it for our own benefit, by holy meditation,” (The Apostles’ Creed, p. 117). How can we better make use of and celebrate Christ’s burial for our benefit? How does frequent meditation on His burial motivate and form our faith on a daily basis? I want to give you seven truths concerning Christ’s burial, which highlight its paramount importance for our faith and the gospel blessings that it sets forth for us to enjoy.
The Resurrection
As it has been said, a great story ends like it begins and the story of Passion Week is no different. Passion Week started with the Triumphal entry to Jerusalem and then suddenly turns dark with the betrayal, the false trial, the unjust scourging, the painful crucifixion, the death of the Messiah; faith is shattered and life seems hopeless. Death, hell, the grave, sin and Satan seem to be the winners. However, praise God the story didn’t end there because the final chapter of Passion Week is the resurrection! The story of Passion Week truly ends with Jesus making one final Journey to Jerusalem not a lamb but as a Lion, not riding on a gentle colt, a beast of burden, but riding on a white horse of victory, not as the King of the Jews but as King of kings and Lord of lords!

Loving Enough to Tell the Truth about Hell
Saying Repent Out Loud
There is a simple truth about salvation that many Christians would like to ignore, it is absolutely impossible for a person to place saving faith in Jesus Christ without a basic understanding and acceptance of the doctrines of Sin, Hell and Repentance. In short, we have to be willing to say "Repent" out lod.
