Sermons About Hell
THE IMPERATIVE OF SHARING THE GOSPEL (Romans 10:14-15 * by Pastor Sid Miller) 11-22-09
Note: the first 22 seconds did not get recorded. This sermon includes a testimony by Michaelle Benz (beginning 37 minutes into the recording). INTRODUCTION: Romans 10:14-15; Isaiah 52:7; Romans 3:15. I. WHY WE ARE TO SHARE THE GOSPEL - A. Unbelievers will spend eternity in hell (Luke 16:19-23; Mark 9:43-49; Revelation 20:11-15; Romans 9:2-3). B. God's word commands us to share the gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20; Psalm 107:2; 2 Timothy 4:5). II. TOOLS FOR SHARING THE GOSPEL - A. God's word produces saving faith (Romans 10:14, 10:17). B. Your personal testimony can help produce a desire for salvation. III. ENCOURAGEMENT FOR SHARING THE GOSPEL - A. God's word will accomplish God's purpose (Isaiah 55:10-11). B. God desires the salvation of unbelievers (1 Timothy 2:4; II Peter 3:9; Ezekiel 33:11). C. The gospel has the power to transform lives (Romans 1:16). PERSONAL APPLICATION (In order to be a doer or the word and not just a hearer I will do the following): --> I will go before God in prayer and ask Him to search my heart (Psalm 139:23-24); --> I will ask God to help me to be obedient in sharing the gospel with unbelievers; --> I will pray for those unbelievers that I know personally; --> I will ask God to give me wisdom and sensitivity when I am around unbelievers in order to effectively share the gospel with them.

11-15-09 Romans 8:12-15
(Romans 8:12 KJV) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. (Romans 8:13 KJV) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:14 KJV) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:15 KJV) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Romans 8:16 KJV) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

11-15-09 Galatians 3:25-26
(Galatians 3:25 NASB) But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. (Galatians 3:26 NASB) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:27 NASB) For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (Galatians 3:28 NASB) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:29 NASB) And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.

True Righteousness & Anger, pt. 2 (Matthew 5:23-26)
The righteousness that marks one's participation in the kingdom, the righteousness that was always intended, is a level of living in relationship with God that extends to the very depths of the heart. True righteousness, being in the kingdom, being a Christian is a matter of the inner man. Follow the Lord as He gives to illustrations of how this righteousness, in relation to the commandment "You shall not murder," looks in the life of His servants.

The Fear of the Lord
If you truly know God, then you’re saved and you’ll undoubtedly have and are growing in a healthy fear of Him. It’s impossible to meet Him and not tremble with fear. Jer 5:22, “’Should you not fear me?’ declares the Lord. ‘Should you not tremble in my presence?’

Eternity Is Too Long To be Wrong
We need to realize how many people are without the Gospel. I believe at times we get stuck in our own little circle and we do not realize how many people die and go to hell every day and never once have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is a Judgment Day coming. There is one day coming when every person who has ever walked or is walking the face of this earth will stand in judgment in front of God Almighty.

The Message That Was Never Delivered
There is such a thing as "too late" when it comes to warning our friends and loved ones about Hell. May God give us grace and boldness to speak for Him before it is too late.
