The Light of Christmas
Pastor Michael invites us all to come take a journey over the next 5 weeks to Bethlehem to see and hopefully receive the greatest gift of all this Christmas.
An Authoritative Model of Gospel-Driven Ministry, Part 8
Paul knew that Titus needed the authority to rightly order the churches. Therefore, Paul sets forth his apostleship as an authoritative model of gospel-driven ministry in order to assist Titus in setting the churches in order. He gives 4 characteristics of a gospel-driven ministry. The first characteristic is that a gospel-driven ministry is devoted to the service of the gospel (1:1a-b). Second, a gospel-driven ministry is devoted to the goals of the gospel (i.e., faith, knowledge, godliness, hope). Third, a gospel-driven ministry is devoted to the proclamation of the gospel (1:3b-c). Fourth, a gospel-driven ministry is devoted to passing on the gospel (1:4).

Future Grace: Sanctified Sex
The good news of the gospel creates in us and through us a kind of life called "holiness." Holiness is not the stodgy, stuffy, boring thing you may think. Holiness is Jesus, his gracious but truthful, strong but tender way of love. God is fully intent on creating this kind of life in us, and doing it in every area of our lives, including our sexuality. How does the gospel shape our sexuality?
Future Grace: Blameless in the End
Paul is longing for the Thessalonians, wishing he could come to visit them and encourage them in their faith. Since he is not able to, he has been praying that God would do a great work in them, making them more and more like his Son, Jesus, perfecting them for the day when Jesus returns to gather his church to himself forever.

As Paul ends his first letter to Thessalonica, he closes by reminding the church to pay attention, test the prophecies, and to strive for holiness in their whole lives.
