What To Do With Our Anger
We are continuing our series of discussions that are intended to help us take a closer look at our emotional life. How do we handle anger? The beauty of Psalm 137, as graphic as it is, is that it shows us that by pouring out our emotional life before God in prayer, by being honest with how we’re really feeling, by not stuffing our emotions down, our anger can be kept from turning into an unrighteous outburst.

Honest to God - Part 2
We all strive to be accepted and appreciated by others. We portray the image of a person we want others to see which is not always true to who we actually are. So why is it that we care so much about our image at the sake of forgetting our soul? Christ didn't die to save your image… he died for you. In this message Josh looks at the importance of being "Honest to God" through the eyes of the Psalmist David and Asaph in Psalm 51 and 73. This is the second part of a 2 part series.

Honest Faith And Hard Questions
It is interesting that many arguments people bring up to question Christian faith are often brought up as if they are something new. Sometimes people who bring up the issue of suffering or injustice and evil in the world as an argument against God bring it up as if this were something that believers haven't really thought much about. Habakkuk's situation was unique to his time and place in history, but the feeling of being confused about what God is doing and why, that's something very familiar to us all. We all know what it's like to have hard questions in our hearts. So, how does honest faith handle these hard questions?

How Faith Empowers Life
There are some stories that have power to get to our hearts and give us strength for life. The story of Habbakuk is like that. It's the story of a man who was overwhelmed with tough questions and strong emotions but ends up with a deep faith and a heart that's strong, joyful and ready for anything.
