God's King: The Hope of All Creation
Since the first sin in Eden, mankind and all creation has labored in bondage to sin's corruption. Yet, there has always been hope, based on the promise of God to break sin's hold, that all creation would one day be reformed and restored to the place where it could once again, declare fully the glory of God. At Christmas, we celebrate the greatest component in that process. Today we look at Messiah through an Old Testament lens.

Haggai 2:1-23 - Eyes on Eternity
The Israelites began to rebuild the temple but the work was being threatened by the discouragement of the new, seemingly inferior form of the temple. God sends Haggai to tell the people that the form of the temple doesn't matter compared to the future glory that will come. We, like the Israelites, should not be looking backwards to the way things used to be or on what is temporary but instead be looking ahead to eternity where we will get to see God in His glory and where all of His promises to us as His people will be perfectly fulfilled.
