I Long for Change!
In a world that so desperately needs to SEE the tangible expressions of the kingdom of God coming to reign... poverty eradicated, disease cured, wars ended, and relationships restored... we sometimes lose hope. Will we EVER see the powerful sweeping move of God in this way? Reminds me of Habakkuk 3:2 "LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known!" How hungry are we?

Originally written to adolescent boys in training, the point is clear about wisdom's significance. When we walk the path of wisdom we become more than just people who know how to make good choices.

Are you hungering for the living god and for his word? Is your focus on other things or on him? We are spiritually dry becasuse we continue to not seek him. We are to provide the answers that the world is looking for, by trusting in his spirit. The only place to find true hope is in God and in Christ.

Hungering for Him
As you begin to study the Word of God to learn and grow, you come to realize that there are plenty of terms in the Bible which our modern English words simply fall short in doing justice to the meaning, or it has morphed into something which has a very different meaning than it did in Scripture. One of the words that I've come to appreciate in a far deeper way than ever before is the word "heart" in the Bible.
