The Story of Us: We Value Relationship with God
We have been created in the image of a Triune God. We reflect His communal personhood as three in one. Though damaged by sin, our lives are daily polishing that likeness so that we provide a more faithful picture to the watching world. As a local church, we value our relationship with God as most fundamental to our identity. John the Baptist provides a good example of someone who saw himself in light of that relationship.

The story of Christmas in its context
The four weeks of Advent call us to remember the darkness of sin and shame and to celebrate the coming of Christ who is the light. Jesus is the hero of the Christmas story. Christmas has a context. Christmas is a powerful invasion of all that is, it is a deadly, revolutionary, rescue of lost sinners. Christmas celebrates the coming of God himself into his broken world to set things right. With the coming of Christ is the coming of a new creation, a new birth, and a new covenant community.
