If In John 14:7-11 we see that Philip is struggling to believe that Jesus is enough. In his kindness, Jesus goes on to show Philip that what he truly desires he already has. So how do we deal with those thoughts and feelings that tell us "if only...?"
“If Only” are some of the most powerful and painful words we can use. Dealing with the “if only’s” of our life can be tricky and painful but it is still important to do. In this study we examine how God tells us to deal with and get past the regrets that can hurt us and others so deeply.
The 40 times "If Only" is used in scripture can be divided into 3 categories: Bitter regret, course correction, and hope and endurance. Over the next few weeks, we'll examine each of these. Today we study the bitter regret of the Children of Israel as they learn God has edges.
