Ultimate Security
Ever since there have been people and sin in the world, people need security. For, the world is a dangerous place and we are a danger ourselves on account of our sin. So, we look for security, often beginning by looking to ourselves and other people. However, people cannot provide the ultimate security that we need, since people are transient, people change, and people have no control. Instead, the Scripture assure us that God alone is the source of ultimate security. God is uniquely able to provide the security we seek because God is eternal, unchanging, and sovereign. Therefore, go to God, your eternal dwelling place.
