Sermons About Inheritance
Abiding Along the Way
Like our spiritual father Abraham we are called to follow God by faith as sojourners in this day and age and look forward to heaven and the jaw-dropping inheritance that He has promised to us. If our true home is in heaven and not here, how do we create community in a place where we don’t belong? Jesus taught us that while we are in the place that He has called us to now we should not try to hop from place to place in search of something better but instead to remain there and invest in the people around us by sacrificially loving them and sharing the truth of the Gospel with them so that they could receive new spiritual life in Christ.

What's In Your Last Lecture?
Randy Pausch captured the hearts of America with his book, "The Last Lecture". Randy put on a sprint at the end of his life to accomplish the task, Let's see what God's word has to say about making our legacy a daily part of living, instead of a part of our dying.

Living in Rejoicing
To live with an attitude of rejoicing, independent of life’s circumstances, is a mandate given to you as a believer. It is not an ‘add-on’ to your Christian experience but your main Christian experience. You rejoice because of who you are and what you have. You are one who has been chosen by God, born again and being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. What you have is an incredible inheritance—eternal life with Jesus—that is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade. It is God’s will that you rejoice amidst trials and tribulations as “proof of your faithâ€.

The Nature of Faith (Romans 4:13-25)
Paul references the promises of God to Abraham, the ultimate fulfillment of which is the restoration of fellowship with God and the establishment of God's kingdom in the new heavens and new earth. Abraham and his descendants will be heirs of the world. Paul clearly demonstrates that it was not obedience that secured this promise to Abraham, but Abraham's faith in God and God's grace toward Abraham. Works and reward are utterly opposed to faith and promises. Just as with Abraham, we do not inherit God's promises by obedience or lineage, but we inherit God's promises by faith in God. We too will experience restoration of fellowship with God, and will participate in his eternal kingdom!

Promises of God
What we have in Christ is more valuable than any billions. The Promise of God Precedes our Obedience. When we put our trust in our works it brings the wrath of God. The Promise of God is Guaranteed by His Power. We are to praise God for His glorious grace. We can face discouragement by meditating on the promises of God.
