Inspiration
If the Bible comes from man, then we have a right to sit in judgment of it. If it comes from God, then we have no other option but to bow down to it.
Message 4: Loud Voice Among Lampstands
John is on Patmos for two reasons: The Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. John was among the first to become a Christ follower and now, 60 years later he is still His follower and apostle. He is a prisoner on this island because of his testimony. During all these years, John got his hands dirty. He worked, he preached, and he suffered tremendously for his faith. Today we need to ask ourselves: Do we come along side our fellow believers to do God's work? Men and women of God WILL suffer for the cause of Jesus Christ. Our journey for Christ is like a field of thorns we need to work our way through.
Blueprint or Breath of God: Living in the Tension
There are those who enjoy having a schedule, those who enjoy acting on the moment, but nobody likes the tension of waiting for very long. In life, God will sometimes show us His plan, inspire us to act, or ask us to wait in between those times. It can be hard to trust Him; we frequently doubt Him or try to take things into our own hands. However, God has promised us that He will be faithful in every situation! The question is: will we be faithful to Him?
Paul's Gospel - Revealed by God, Not by Man
We, like the churches in Galatia, need to be on the alert and follow God’s divine Word, not allowing ourselves to be influenced by tradition or the convictions of people. The revelation to the church is the Bible. It is reliable and it is infallible. Read it, study it and love it. If we commit to God’s Word as our source of salvation, we will not have to fear rebuke from God, even if we are rejected by people.

The Wonderful Works of the Holy Spirit
How does a person know if he or she has been born again? John Gill writes that such a person "is quickened by the Spirit of God, and lives spiritually by faith on Christ; he breathes after spiritual things, salvation by Christ and communion with God; he yearns after conformity to Christ, pardon of sin, a justifying righteousness, and eternal life: he has spiritual senses; he has a spiritual sight of things, of himself, and his lost state by nature, and of the person, grace, and things of Christ." Have these new desires and pursuits become your own experience? These are some of the evidences of the new birth.
Celebrating Our Great Salvation
1 Peter 1:3 through 2:10 is a celebration of the believer's great salvation in Christ. In 1:10-12 which we look at in this sermon we'll see how Peter celebrates those who foretold our salvation, those who preach the gospel, and the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers of Scripture and empowers the preachers who present it. In the process we'll learn how to truly celebrate our salvation.
The One and Only, Part 5: Inspiration
The transfiguration of Jesus was an example of how when the disciples saw the glory of Jesus, it inspired them with CONFIDENCE, COURAGE, and CONVICTION. Build these traits into your life by observing God's glory in your life, and you, too, will find inspiration and motivation.
Christians in Training
St. Paul often compared being a Christian to being an athlete. What if you’re not a “natural Christian?” Does such a thing even exist? Find out why you ought to be in “faith training” no matter where your “natural ability” as a believer starts you off!
