Where the Wind Blows
Jesus, in his dialogue with Nicodemus, used the wind as an illustration of the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. If Christians fully understood the Holy Spirit's work, their lives might look a little differently.

Origins: Intervention
An intervention is a process where friends and family confront somebody, most often dealing with drugs and alcohol. The goal is to immediately get the person into rehab or counseling so he can become the person he is supposed to be. Intervention works because it is a confrontation of grace, stemming from love and affection. "Divine intervention" is often expected to be dramatic, near-miraculous, flashy, huge and immediately life-altering. In Genesis 12, we see a more subtle divine intervention, one that we can study to learn more about Abram, more about God and, hopefully, a little bit about ourselves.
