The BIG Investments_Part 2_The Financial Investment
Part 2 of The BIG Investments series, titled The Financial Investment. Pastor Rudy Bropleh uses scripture from Malachi 3:8-12 with emphasis on the fact that God wants to give guidance to us and there are 3 important points to gain: 1) We need to SOW ---bringing tithes and offerings to the storehouse (church). We should understand the 80:20 rule, keeping in mind that EVERYTHING belongs to God --1Chronicles 29 ----10% of gross goes to God; 10% is used to pay yourself; and 80% is used for daily living. When we follow the 80:20 rule...2) God will SUPPLY all of our needs; and 3) God will SUSTAIN us. Never turn your back on God because He keeps negative things away from us so that we can do well and live a good life!
The BIG Investments_Part 1_The Family Investment
Pastor Rudy Bropleh returns to the pulpit with a new series titled, The BIG Investments - Family, Financial, Faith, focusing on Luke 6:38. In Part 1 - The Family Investment, Pastor Bropleh references 1Timothy 5:8, Paul's letter to Timothy about instructions on how Christians should live. Pastor Bropleh tells us there are 3 ways that we can invest in Family: 1) The Biological Family in which God invested the gift of life in us and expects a return on His investment, which it starts at Home. 2) The Relational Family referencing Mark 3:33-34 in which God places people in our pathway so that we learn to invest and to expect a return on the investment by taking an interest in things around us in our daily lives, such as current events, politics, community, acts of righteousness, etc. and 3) The Spiritual Family, referencing Matthew 6:25-33 in which we should Seek first His kingdom and invest in God and in return, all things will be given to us, as well.
Getting Rich God's Way
As we come to the end of our study in this pastoral epistle ... the apostle Paul gives young Timothy three C's regarding money; verses 3-8 ... be Content; verses 9-10 ... be Cautious; and in these final verses ... be Contributors. We saw earlier that being a lover of money has nothing to do with what you make; it has everything to do with how you view it and you use it. You can be materialistic making minimum wage; or you can be making millions and be an extremely, godly, steward of everything the Lord entrusts to you. Now in our text this morning the Lord is going to address "the rich" ... tell us the source of our "riches" ... and commands us "to be rich". This is a text on "Getting Rich God's Way"
Save All You Can part 2
Money Talks: Save All You Can part 2 November 4, 2012 Text: I Timothy 6:6-11; Philippians 4:11-19 Key Thought: Christ’s offer of contentment leads to the wise use of money; an antidote to sin and greed. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. I Timothy 6
