Focus
Have you ever wondered about these questions: What the church lives for, why it exists or what its focus is? What is essential to the church? What philosophy does the church have when it comes to ministry? What is the mission of the church? Through the month of April we will look at our church's focus, essentials, philosophy and mission. We pray during these messages you would join us in committing to the mission, recommit to the mission or watch and learn what the mission means. Today we look at God's focus and how he wants us to align our lives with that focus.

Wonderful Counselor
The baby in the manger, the one we celebrate or at least see all over the place this time of year and gets us some time off from work and presents under the tree, He is here to claim His place of rightful leadership in our lives, to become the “Wonderful Counselor†of our lives. Not someone with just some good ideas or guidance or principles or values to consider as we live our lives, but the One whom we trust in all things, in every area of life to guide us and direct us, not as our adviser, but as our king. As Wonderful Counselor He is Lord to be followed and obeyed: His wisdom and understanding is so far beyond anything we could comprehend, it’s indescribable. That’s one way Isaiah describes Jesus.
