The emotion typically felt when jumping off a diving board for the very first time is fear. But after we hit the water and find we survived it, we scramble to get in line for another jump. The Bible contains a similar kind of principle for us in Psalm 34:8. It simply says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” There are some things in life that you will never know how good they are until you just jump in.

Isn’t it true that today it’s very easy to become a consumer of Christianity---Where Jesus and worship just become another commodity to be marketed and tailored to my tastes? But do you realize that, in Christ, YOU ARE A PRIEST, fully empowered and entrusted to participate in helping advance the kingdom of God. Life as a priest is more than just taking in Christ, it is breathing Him out through our lives. Do not procrastinate -- breathe out!
