Worldview Super Conference 3: Why Go?
Introduction BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, American Vision is pleased to announce our third Worldview Super Conference to be held July 22–25, 2009, in Powder Springs, Georgia. This year’s theme is The Great Reversal: How Christians Will Change the Future. This unique event will equip you in gaining a biblical understanding of media, economics, politics, education, and science. More importantly, it will show you how Christians can use new media (Internet, Print-on-Demand, Forums, In-Home Broadcasting, Pod-casting, etc.) to make an “end-run” around the liberal stronghold to advance the Gospel and a Christian Worldview. A Great Reversal is coming. Are you ready to be a part of it?

Stay Awake
While at his post, the guard stays alert, keeps watch. He reports all suspicious activity; he sounds the alarm when danger is near. He never sleeps on duty and is always prepared to act at a moment's notice. To be on guard is the responsibility of those assigned as guardians. They stand watch in the towers and remain vigilant and are trustworthy. The Church has been given the task of being a guardian of the faith handed down from Christ to His Apostles. She must "stay awake," being ever ready to sound the alarm.

The Mystery of God's Salvation
How broad is our understanding of salvation? Does it deal only with the redemption of individual souls? In Chapter 11 of Romans the apostle Paul reflects upon how the salvation brought about in the present time impacts God’s relationship to his people Israel and their place in his future plan. Redemption, in other words, is part of a larger set of issues beyond our personal life with the Lord. This is a key chapter in Christian theology, and there is much disagreement about the role of the people of Israel now and in the future. The issues are complex, but important: Is there a place for Jewish evangelism? How should we evaluate the growing Messianic Jewish movement? Should Christians support the modern nation of Israel? Whatever our responses to these kinds of questions and our particular theological framework, all Christians can come together and praise God for his marvelous redemption and sovereign movement in human history
