In 1:1 and 5:23-28 Paul's focus is on redirecting the Thessalonian Christians to remember they belong to God, they are not alone in their faith, and unity is essential in the body of Christ.

He went to jail for a number of years where he was introduced to Jesus. He begin to study the Word of God which the Holy Spirit used to bring about transformation in his life. He will share with us how he came out prison penniless, and how the Lord helped him start a business and enabled him to prosper in his business as well as in his soul.
