The Life-Giving Jesus
Lubbock lacks transformation. We simultaneously live in the land of church (8 times the national per-capita average) and have high (bad) ratings in violent crime, STD's, and alcohol abuse among many other things. And those stats are just the tip of the iceberg on how broken we really are! We need the transformation of the creating Christ and that's why we need John's portrait of Him.

The Parable of the Tent: Prologue to John's Gospel
(Recorded outdoors at a church camp service). This brief message on the Prologue to John’s gospel explains that God pitched His tent with us (John 1:14) in the person of Jesus Christ. He showed us the light; he showed us His glory. Application: Have you camped with Him? Do you know Him? Do you know Him well? As a believer in Jesus Christ, you too are a light shining in the darkness (Mt 5:14-16).Are you reflecting His light to others?
