The Way of Peace
In the midst of our chaotic, busy American lives, we need to stop and take time to connect with the Lord. Following the example of Psalm 46, it is crucial that we regularly put our lives on pause to seek the Lord, remember that He is God, and believe the promises of the Gospel. This pattern of seeking God's presence is the the secret to unlocking the peace that the Gospel promises.

What kind of world do we live in? Is it only governed by the physical forces of reality? How can we demonstrate "physically" that we also live in a "spiritual" world?

Often Jesus is relegated to a nice guy, or good buddy who's there to chum around with. There can be a tendency to overlook Jesus saying difficult things, requiring much from his hearers, or claiming outlandish things about himself. But to only see "Buddy Jesus" is to miss the One who came from heaven and dwelt among us. The point of this series is to open people's eyes to a Jesus they never expected to see. Inviting them to deeper levels of commitment to Jesus.
