Experience Him Today
Jesus has risen from the dead and the Holy Spirit is actively making Jesus known to us in a personal relational way. We can only experience Jesus as we seek Him and make Him our priority and hunger. A more powerful word is to lust for Him. What are you lusting for today? Mary Magdalene was first to the tomb because Jesus was her priority. In turn Jesus made Mary His priority as she would be the first human being to see the risen Christ.

The Point and Purpose (Thomas should doubt his doubts)
Another post-resurrection account is needed to bring peace. However there is a skeptic who needs to doubt his doubts. How gracious that Jesus comes to meet Thomas! It leads to the most profound statement of faith! It is the point and purpose of the whole gospel!

He Is Risen
C.S. Lewis was right . . . If he didn’t rise from the dead, nothing else he says is trustworthy. He’s a liar and a fraud or a lunatic at best! (He said repeatedly he would rise from the dead.) If he’s to be trusted and we can put our faith in him, then everything hinges on his resurrection!
