Sermon Notes The Gospel Begins With Go John 3:16 October 28, 2007 Rev. John Schmidtke All over the world, there are unloved, lost people. Tens of thousands of them live nearby. The early church loved – each other and everyone else. Our culture isn’t loving. Love gives evidence. So does lack of love Love is a leap of faith. You take risks. You make plans. The Bible describes love – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love keeps no record of wrongs. We are to love everyone. Can we feel love from a God we fear? – Exodus 20:18-19 Creation is evidence Jesus is the greatest evidence Father and Son were close – John 1:18, 17:11 God loved us enough to go. Do we love others enough to go?
