Great Promises of God to Joshua
As we begin the Book of Joshua we see God re-stating his promises originally given to Moses to Joshua. We know that God is faithful to keep his promises to us as he did to the people of Israel. °Premise of the Promise - God encourages Joshua to be strong and be courageous. God let Joshua know that he was going to fulfill the promises given to Moses °Power of the Promise - God's word was the power behind the promise. God will perform his promises. All the power of God backs His promises. He spoke the world into existence and it is that same power that is behind the promises that He gave to Moses, Joshua and each of us.

A Perception Problem
Do you have a perception problem? Perception is a result of observation; a mental image or concept. On the other hand, Joshua and Caleb assured Moses and the children of Israel that they would be able to overtake the inhabitants of the land because the Lord was with them. They were looking through the lens of faith. What lens are you looking through today?

And... God is pleased. Either God has responded with unwarrented force, or there is more to this crime than meets the eye.
