Josiah: The Heart of a Reformer
2 Chronicles 34-35 As the southern kingdom of Judah comes closer to its end and Babylonian captivity draws near, we meet a great reformer king - the man Josiah. Due to the hard heartedness of the previous kings, idolatry had run rampant and the Law of Moses had been forgotten altogether in Judah. But God grants the young king a tender heart to seek after God, purge the land of wickedness, and recover the Law - calling the people back to the singular worship of Yahweh and His covenant with them.
