A Heavenly Interlude
Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace. It is secured for all believers from every age by the sacrificial and substitutionary death of Christ on the cross. It was there that He bore our sins and endured the wrath of God against us. In those awful moments, suspended between heaven and earth, the cup of divine judgment fell upon Him. He who knew no sin was made sin for us, that we might receive the righteousness of God as a free gift (2Cor. 5:17-21) In his death on the cross, He triumphed over sin, death and hell. No wonder He shouted, “It is finished!”

This look at Jesus' parables addressed the kingdom... in two differnet aspects! The parable of the weeds gives us a look at the present with a focus on the end of the age.
Peel Back the Sky!
As Christians, we have no reason to fear these coming judgments. Isaiah the prophet said: Isa 54:10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” People mock God today and we hope that He will perform acts that will cause them to acknowledge Him. The day is coming that God will block the sun and moon, cause the stars to fall, peel back the skies and cause the earth to shake at its very foundation, causing the mountains to crumble. Yet they will still curse Him. Let us commit ourselves to never giving up on anyone and faithfully carry out God’s commission to us to preach the Gospel.
The Beauty of the Cross

The Conclusion of the Whole Matter
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 King James Version (KJV) 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours (12of23)

Empty Shelves At the Grocery Store
Instead of pointing our fingers at God and blaming Him for the struggles that we and others face, let us commit to acknowledging that bad things happen as a result of sin. God is love, and He can have nothing to do with sin. He did not create it and He cannot endorse it. Let us endeavor to dedicate our lives to Him and seek His Face. Let others see our faith and come to God in humility and gratitude.
