Searching for Justice (Psalm 10)
Life is filled with all sorts of landscape. An all terrain faith is equally balanced for the breathtaking view from the mountaintop and the confusing trek though a cold, dark valley. God Is Just
As human beings, we are notoriously unjust in our dealings with one another, including our leaders and judges. In contrast to this, God is just in all that he does. His decisions, his actions, his dealing with sin—he is fair in all of them. It cost the sacrifice of his Son to pay the penalty for man’s sin. In this sense, grace didn’t come cheap. If you accept this offer, you are free to go! This ‘judgment’ is decided on the basis of accepting or rejecting God’s grace at the present time although the ‘sentencing’ is handed out at the very end when Jesus comes again—eternal damnation to those who do not accept and eternal life to those who do.

A Worshipping Community
These days, there is an appetite for spirituality and a distaste for "church." Is this really what God wanted? The church was intended to be a dynamic, life-giving movement of people who experience and extend the love of God together. In fact, Jesus said that you can't be spiritual on your own, that the spiritual life is something we do together. If you catch a glimpse of God's dream for doing life together, we are convinced you'll never want anything less.
