The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread-Part Three
Let’s review how Jesus got here so we can understand the gravity and the meaning of the words that follow. Tired and weary from six months of nonstop ministry of miracles, baptizing, and teaching, Jesus and his disciples tried to get away into a remote place near the restful and beautiful Sea of Galilee. But the crowds wouldn’t let him. They followed him to that remote place. So Jesus, who had compassion on those who were seeking him, continued his teaching. Then, he took a little boy’s lunch and fed 5,000 men, probably 20-30,000 individuals. He was at the height of his popularity here. In fact, he was so popular, they wanted to make Jesus king.

Live Fully
Life starts with a reunion between humanity and the King; that's the truth which lies at the heart of the Gospel message. The Kingdom of God is the treasure that Jesus came to make available to all through His death and resurrection. This is why Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life , and have it to the full."

Is History Repeating
"We want a king!". This is what Israel cried out to Samuel. They wanted change, for the sake of change. They wanted what the other nations had. We face the same thing today nationally. We also face the same thing personally.

The Cross that Conquers You: Just a Reminder
Easter is a story of authority. Of your good King Jesus conquering all your obstacles and all your enemies to free you from your past, bring joy to your present and give hope for your future. A group of Sadducees ask Jesus an unfair question. They poisoned the well by trapping into an emotional question about the painful loss of a family member. Death is the old story, the story we belonged to before Easter. Now because he lives, we truly live.
