The Lamb of God our great Shepherd
The Lamb of God is our great shepherd. All sheep know their shepherds voice. Many times what happens is we stop listening to his voice. Many times we pursue our own desires enough that we can no longer hear his voice. If we truly listen to his voice, he will call us to repent, call us to leave everything else behind and follow him. As we become like him, we will do as he did and does. We will make disciples and we will seek lost people. The lamb of god our great shepherd came to save lost sheep. Are you listening to your shepherds voice? He is pursuing you, will you follow and listen to him?

The Lords Supper Remembering the Lamb that was slain
The Lord's supper is the time that we set aside to remember what Christ has done for us. Do we really contemplate all that Jesus did for us? During communion time, do we make it about us or about Jesus? May each one of us take a step back and glorify God for what he has done for us in Christ.

The Reality of Rejoicing
On this Third Sunday of Advent we pay particular attention to the shepherds whom God Himself chose to be the first to hear of the birth of the Promised King. It was to these, whose job it was to raise and guard the Temple lambs, that the invitation first came to worship the Lamb of God. They were the first to experience the reality that the promise of a Savior had been fulfilled.
