Sermons About Leap-of-faith
A Leap of Faith to Hold on to Jesus
In Order to walk on water, Peter had to let go of that voice that said it was impossible. Imagine what that first step out of the boat would of been like . God is calling us to take this first step of faith in our own lives. God is calling us out of the boat. There will be times that when we let go and step out that we will fall. Remember that Jesus will always be there to catch us when we call to him. God is calling us to take a leap of faith to hold on to Jesus and let go of everything else.

A Leap of Faith to live the Word
Many times we follow the word of God as much as we agree with it. God has given us the final word on how to live a godly life. Shouldn't we read it? Shouldn't we follow it? Many times we do not want to read the word of God because we know we will be convicted of the sin in our lives when we read it. Many of us have heard the word, the question is are we going to live what it says?

A Leap of Faith in Our Lives
God is calling us to take a leap of faith in our lives. This morning we are beginning an eight week series which will cover all the aspects of taking a leap of faith in our lives. Peter walked on water, because he trusted Christ. What a leap he took to get out of the boat in the first place. Peter had his eyes locked on jesus and then he got distracted. His eyes began to focus on the storm instead of on Christ. God is calling us to move past our fears into god's will. Once we take this leap, we will experience things that we can not even imagine. It is time to take a leap of faith.
