One Anothering

It is in this setting of death’s sobriety and last words that Jesus speaks to His disciples, His friends. It is in this setting of scandalous humility that Christ speaks to us through His words about His dying commands and wishes for those who have been loved by Him. ...that you love one another: just as I have loved you.

Church Is Like AMPM
If church is people, and people exist 24-7, then church must be like AMPM. Jesus uses the word "abide" to describe how we are to relate to Him on an on-going basis. Just like the branches are continually connected to the vine for their existence, so are we as the church to abide in Christ. Jesus also says that we continue to abide in Him when we love one another just like He loves us. This He gives as a 'new' commandment or teaching. So, church is everyday, expressed by acts of love to one another in light of Jesus' death on the cross for our redemption.

Bold Existence
A correct view of God is necessary for a correct view of ourselves and others. But mere knowledge is not enough. True knowledge of God is both intellectual and experiential. And this knowledge produces certain actions that cannot be produced otherwise. The most noteworthy of these is love. Listen in as Pastor Shaun Garman explores this connection between truth, love, and action.
