The Kingdom, Relationships, and Love
Most of us think of ourselves as loving people. But it seems that our idea of being loving is different from Jesus' idea of being loving. We find it relatively easy to love those who love us and be kind to those who look like us, think like us, and live like us. But Jesus calls us to love our enemies. He calls us to love those who insult us, humiliate us, steal from us, take advantage of us, and do us harm. This seems to be so contrary to our nature and experience that the natural response is, "how?" Listen in as we allow Jesus to teach us to love as he loves.
