Character traits of Abraham
Abraham walked in Love and refused to allow strife into his house. He was a giver, he preferred his neighbor. Strife will stop the blessing. Abraham knew that God would bless him wherever he went as long as he was walking in Love. Abraham was a servant, he was humble. The people we see in the Bible that are blessed are servants. We have to start where we’re at. We have to be faithful to do whatever God tells us to do.

Am All Loving
Think of your favorite dish. Is there someone who should taste and see how good it is? God's love is like that. It has to be tasted to be believed. Sometimes it's easier to be ok with the belief that God loves the world. Yet we struggle with the idea that He loves us individually. But if He is all-loving, then I can experience His love regardless of how I feel. If God is all-loving, then I can invite other's to experience His love. Who would we be praying for?

Is That Faith Alive?
Among those who believe they are right with God, there are two kinds of people: Those who really are right, and those who only THINK they are. How can we tell the difference? Those who are right with God have a living faith. A faith that loves God and responds to his conviction and discipline in their lives. On the Shoulders of Giants
As we look back in history, we should be challenged AND encouraged by the godly example of so many who have gone before us! As we seek to build the kingdom of God in our day – we do so – "on the shoulders of giants!" Hebrews 11 tells us that the "world was not worthy of them!" Will history say the same of us? During these next few weeks, we are going to be looking together at the mission we believe God has called us to live out in our city and region. As we talk of the impact He would have us to have on the world around us, I pray that you will be personally challenged to step into His call on your life. There are two basics that anchor everything we do: Loving People... And Following Jesus! Key Passage: Hebrews 11:13 & 38
